Software Engineer
We're looking for a full-stack engineer to help us ship faster across our Next.js frontend and .NET backend. You'll work directly on core product — creator tools, distribution pipelines, and the release workflow.
You’ll work on
- Building and shipping features across Next.js (Cloudflare Workers/OpenNext) and .NET 8
- Fixing and hardening existing systems as we scale past early launch
- Working closely with Postgres (Neon) and Supabase S3 for data and storage
- Collaborating directly with the founder — no layers, real ownership
You might be a fit if you
- Have production experience with Next.js and a typed backend language (.NET, Go, etc.)
- Are comfortable moving between frontend and backend without waiting on handoffs
- Like early-stage pace — ambiguity, fast iteration, direct impact
- Have shipped a real product (not just side projects) end to end
AI/ML Engineer
Music generation, recommendation, and creator tooling all touch AI in some way at Cambrian. We need someone who can take AI capabilities from "interesting demo" to "reliable product feature."
You’ll work on
- Building AI-assisted tools for creators (mastering assistance, metadata generation, discovery/recommendation)
- Integrating and evaluating models for production use — latency, cost, and reliability all matter
- Designing systems that handle AI outputs gracefully (fallbacks, quality checks, human-in-the-loop where needed)
- Partnering with engineering on how AI features fit into the broader product
You might be a fit if you
- Have shipped AI/ML features in a real product, not just research or prototypes
- Understand the practical tradeoffs of using LLMs/generative models in production (cost, latency, reliability, evaluation)
- Can work across the stack enough to integrate your work without heavy handoff
- Are excited about the AI music space specifically — including its current legal and ethical complexity
Marketing Specialist
Cambrian has strong engagement once creators find us — the challenge is top-of-funnel. We need someone who can own growth and get us in front of more creators where they already are.
You’ll work on
- Driving creator acquisition through Discord, Reddit, and X
- Planning and running launches (Product Hunt, PeerPush, and similar)
- Building repeatable acquisition channels, not just one-off campaigns
- Working with the founding creator program to turn early creators into advocates
You might be a fit if you
- Have grown an early-stage product's user base from scratch, ideally in music, creator tools, or a similar community-driven space
- Are comfortable being genuinely active in communities (Discord, Reddit) rather than just running ads
- Can think in both strategy and execution — you'll be doing the work, not just planning it
- Have a point of view on what's working right now in creator/community growth
Customer Support Specialist
Creators come to Cambrian expecting real answers, fast — on releases, payouts, mastering, and everything in between. You'll be the first (and often only) point of contact when something goes wrong.
You’ll work on
- Answering creator support requests across email and Discord
- Troubleshooting release, payout (Stripe Connect), and upload issues, escalating bugs to engineering when needed
- Building out help docs and FAQs as recurring issues surface
- Spotting patterns in support volume that point to product or UX problems
You might be a fit if you
- Have done support or community-facing work for a product, ideally something creator- or music-related
- Write clearly and patiently, even when the same question comes in for the fifth time
- Are comfortable in Discord and can represent the brand in public channels
- Know when to escalate versus resolve on your own, and can work independently
