FAQ
Common questions
How is Cambrian different from Jam.com or SoundCloud?
Cambrian is a home base for AI musicians: weekly charts anyone can climb, transparent revenue share up to 90%, direct Stripe payouts, and Human Authorship Records that document the human creativity in your releases.
Who owns the music I upload?
You do. Your music stays yours; Cambrian takes a license to host and stream it, nothing more.
What is a Human Authorship Record?
A $10.00-per-release documented record of the human creative contributions in a track — lyrics, composition, arrangement, curation — useful when registrability or ownership questions arise.
What does it cost?
Free to start. Creator is $5.99/mo and Pro is $12.99/mo; the revenue share is 65% free, 85% Creator, 90% Pro.
Do you accept music from any generator?
Yes — upload from any generator. Humans-plus-AI workflows are welcome.
Your first release could be live tonight.
The scene is early — small enough that good tracks get heard, new enough that your name can mean something here.
